A. Personal Account Information
When you create an account, register, or update your profile, we may collect:

- Username & Profile details: Skill rating, preferred play style, and home ZIP code to tailor court recommendations.
- Profile Photo (Optional): Uploaded optionally to personalize your player profile.
B. Device and Location Data
- Location Data (Foreground Only): We request access to your device's approximate and/or precise location solely while using the app to calculate distances to nearby pickleball courts and provide driving directions. We do not track or store your location in the background or sell your location history.
- Camera Access: We request optional camera access strictly for scanning player match QR codes and capturing a profile avatar. No photos or video feeds are captured without your direct interaction.
C. Cookies, Google AdSense & Advertising Technologies
- Google AdSense & Third-Party Cookies: On our web application, we partner with Google AdSense to display advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve advertisements based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites across the Internet.
- Use of Advertising Cookies: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to Pickleball Finder and other sites on the Internet.
- Opting Out of Personalized Ads: Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info or Your Online Choices.
- Google AdMob (Mobile Apps): In our mobile applications, we use Google AdMob to deliver advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID / AD_ID), approximate IP location, and ad interaction diagnostics to serve relevant ads according to Google's Advertising Policies.

- Display nearby pickleball courts, amenities, and player counts.
- Facilitate court scheduling, announcements, and check-ins.
- Authenticate your account securely across devices.

3. Third-Party Services
Pickleball Finder integrates with trusted third-party service providers:
- Google Firebase: Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication for secure database storage and account management. (Firebase Privacy Policy)
- Google AdSense & Google AdMob: For displaying website and in-app advertisements. (Google Advertising Technologies & Privacy)
- Mapping Services: Apple Maps, Google Maps, and OpenStreetMap for driving directions.
4. Account and Data Deletion (Google Play Compliance)
Your Right to Delete Data
You have the right to permanently erase your account and all associated personal information at any time.
You can delete your account and all data using either method:
- In-App / Web Deletion: Open the Pickleball Finder app → go to the Profile tab → scroll down to the bottom → tap Delete Account → confirm deletion. Your account, profile details, favorites, and match entries are immediately and permanently erased from our databases.
- Online Deletion Portal / Email Request: If you do not have the app installed or cannot sign in, visit our dedicated Account & Data Deletion Portal or email artintelwithme@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". All associated data will be completely expunged within 30 days.
5. Children's Privacy
Pickleball Finder does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can immediately delete the data.
6. Security of Your Data
We implement industry-standard encryption and security controls provided by Google Cloud and Firebase to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal data.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
